The environmental group of sites as a whole are not selected with any particular political standpoint in mind, but rather to offer information so you can make your own mind about the environmental issues affecting our planet.

in 2000. It is now the largest timber promotional campaign ever undertaken in the UK.

BRISTOL WOOD RECYCLING PROJECT. Bristol Wood Recycling Project aims to rescue, re-use and recycle some of the tonnes of wood going to landfill locally. They create volunteer, training and employment opportunities for Bristol's social economy through doing this; as well as providing affordable timber to the local community. BWRP is a self funded not-for-profit social enterprise.

SUSTRANS Sustrans is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity, working on practical projects so people can choose to travel in ways that benefit their health and the environment including the award-winning National Cycle Network.
