We are often asked by architects and interior designers for very specific floor finishes. Although we offer a wide range of oak styles, there are occasions when a more specific floor finish may be needed.

CHAUNCEY'S offer a 'Tailor Made' finishing service. Please see below for options available. Most can be mixed and matched. Minimum Quantity: 50m2

Finishes can be applied to either full thickness solid boards or to Tectonic Engineered boards.

SANDING:
Fine grit surface sanding ready to take finish

FILLING & SANDING:

Two Coats - Matt or Satin

BRUSHING:
High speed brushing with steel brushes to show the surface texture of the grain.

SAWN FINISH:
Boards are planed and then resawn to leave bandsaw marks which are then softened with brushing.

Edges and surfaces treated by hand and machine to produced an authentic aged appearance
