CHAUNCEY'S are proud to have been certified members of the Forest Stewardship Council's responsible forestry management scheme for almost 4 years. The FSC scheme tracks timber from the forest to the building site by Chain of Custody certification - each part of the chain must have their own FSC certificate to prove that the timber really is FSC certified.
The construction industry uses around 60% of all timber in the UK, the majority of which is imported and may be either illegally or irresponsible produced. 15mm version: Made from 11mm FSC layered birch ply base (minimum 70% FSC material) plus a 4mm hardwood wear layer (made from 100% FSC European Oak).
