During 2008, the iconic St David's visitor centre was extended to add a Category One gallery to provide air conditioned, humidity controlled exhibition space. The architects selected Chauncey's Tectonic Oak to provide the stability required for the exacting gallery climate requirements.

The Standard Grade 180mm Tectonic European Oak boards were finished with Treatex Hardwax Oil.

Architects: Smith Roberts Associates.
